Refund policy

MyRatna.com offers a transparent and customer-friendly return and replacement policy.

Conditions to be eligible for return and replacement:

  1. Items must be in their original, unused condition.
  2. Damage caused by misuse is not covered under the return policy.
  3. All replacements are subject to inspection and verification by the MyRatna team.
  4. The product must be accompanied by the original certificate, invoice copy, packaging, documentation, laboratory certificates, discount coupons, etc.

For Loose Precious Gemstones:

  1. You can return a loose precious gemstone within 10 days.
  2. Refunds exclude shipping charges, GST, certificate charges, payment gateway charges, service charges (₹300 per parcel), and other applicable charges.
  3. Any activity after receiving the parcel is the customer's responsibility.
  4. Return shipping charges are to be borne by the customer.
  5. Any booking amount or COD advance is non-refundable but can be adjusted as store credit.

For Diamonds

  1. All diamond orders are non-returnable and non-refundable once the order is confirmed.

For Loose Semi-Precious Gemstones:

Semi-precious gemstones are non-returnable. Customers will receive 70% store credit valid for six months.

For Rudraksha (with or without jewelry):

Rudraksha products are non-returnable.

For Gemstone Bracelets:

Gemstone bracelets are non-returnable and non-refundable.

For Japa Mala:

Japa malas are non-returnable and non-refundable.

For Selenite Plates:

Selenite plates are non-returnable and non-refundable.

For Silver Jewelry:

All silver jewelry items are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Moissanite:

  1. Return policy applies only to Round Brilliant Cut (RBC) moissanites.
  2. Returns are subject to inspection.
  3. Damaged moissanites are not eligible for return.
  4. 70% store credit can be availed within 10 days.

For Precious Stone Jewelry:

  1. Up to 70% of the stone value will be refunded after inspection.
  2. Deductions include making charges, wastage, hallmark charges, GST, and service charges for gold jewelry.
  3. Certificate and engraving charges will also be deducted.
  4. This policy is applicable within 7 days of receipt.

For Semi-Precious Stone Jewelry:

Only the gold metal amount will be refunded.

For Navratna (Miniature Gems):

Navratna jewelry is non-returnable.

For Birthstone Jewelry:

Birthstone jewelry is non-returnable.

Important Notes:

  • Gold jewelry calculation is based on gross weight.
  • Returns take 7-10 business days to process.
  • Banks may take additional time to reflect refunds.
  • No returns on other products after 3 days.
  • No returns are accepted for items shipped outside India.
  • All disputes are subject to Udaipur jurisdiction.

Rules for Mode of Payment / Refund:

  • Payment gateway charges will be deducted from online payment refunds.
  • COD refunds will be made via Bank Transfer or UPI.
  • NEFT/IMPS refunds will be processed through the same method.
  • For exchanges, customers must pay the price difference before shipping.
  • Current market value or original purchase price, whichever is lower, will be considered for refunds or store credit.

Export:

  1. No returns are accepted for items shipped outside India.
  2. International orders are eligible for export only when:
    • Full payment is received in the respective currency.
    • Payment gateway and currency conversion charges are paid by the customer.
    • The shipping address belongs to the country from where the transaction originated.
    • The export process begins after payment confirmation.
  3. If the order is cancelled before shipping:
    • Payment gateway charges, currency conversion charges, and a $50 service fee will be deducted.
    • Refunds take a minimum of 25 working days.

Important Delivery & Return Guidelines

Before accepting the parcel:

  1. Check the package carefully.
  2. If the package appears tampered, open, or suspicious, do not accept it.

For damaged, wrong, empty, or broken product issues:

  1. An unboxing video is mandatory.
  2. The video must:
    • Be one continuous shot without edits.
    • Start from opening the sealed package.
    • Clearly show the entire unboxing process.
    • Clearly show the product in hand.
  3. Requests without a proper video will not be processed.

When does the return period begin?

The return period starts from the day the product is delivered to you.

I bought 2 loose gems and want to return one. Is that possible?

Yes. You may return the unwanted gemstone within 10 days. After inspection, a credit note will be issued for future purchases.

I lost the laboratory certificate and original packaging. Can I still return the gemstone?

Returns generally require all original documents and packaging. In certain cases, partial or replacement credit may be considered after contacting customer support.

Can I return a precious stone that was set in a ring outside MyRatna?

Customized jewelry made outside MyRatna is generally not eligible for returns. However, special cases may be evaluated at MyRatna's discretion.

I am returning a loose stone. How should I send it?

Important: Do not mention "MyRatna" or any gemstone/jewelry-related words on the parcel. Instead, address it to Awesome Arts.

  • Generate a return request within the specified period.
  • Keep all original certificates, invoices, and packaging.
  • Pack the item carefully and use a reputed courier with transit insurance.
  • Share the tracking information with us.
  • Recommended courier services: DTDC, Professional Courier, Delhivery, and India Post.
  • Any shipping risk is borne by the customer.
