Here is a 3.89 carat (4.30 ratti) natural red coral from Italy, shaped as an oval cabochon with a smooth, polished finish. The colour is a clear red with a smooth, even surface shine.

Size and weight: roughly 12.26 X7.58 X5.25 mm, 0.78 grams. In our grading this stone is Rare quality, and it is supplied with an IGI certificate. Certificates from other labs, including IIGJ, GII, IGI, IGITL and Pangem, are also on offer.

Being a natural, untreated coral, it may show typical surface markings such as striations, wood grain or groove pits. Italian red coral is one of the best-known kinds of Moonga in the market.
