This Japanese Moonga is a natural red coral of 7.76 carats (8.57 ratti) with a triangular cabochon profile. It carries a warm, saturated red tone across the whole cabochon.

Measured at roughly 13.00 X13.11 X7.00 mm, it has a weight of 1.55 grams. The quality grade is Rare, and the stone is available with an IGI certificate. Other lab certificates such as IIGJ, GII, IGI, IGITL and Pangem are also available.

It is a natural coral with no treatment applied, so small surface markings such as wood grain, groove pits or striations may be present. Japan is a well-known source of precious red coral from Pacific waters. The triangular cabochon is a popular shape for coral rings and pendants.
