Light a lamp in these corners of the house on Diwali, Goddess Lakshmi will be pleased

Deepawali is a festival of lights. On this day people decorate their house with lights of lamps to please Maa Lakshmi. This year, Deepawali will be celebrated on 1st November 2024. On this day, every lamp lit in the house has a different significance and meaning. Do you know in which corner of the house what effect does the lamp puts on your life. According to religious beliefs, let us know how many lamps should be lit in the house from Dhanteras to Diwali and what is the meaning of each lamp.

First lamp – On the day of Dhanteras, in the house where the lamp is donated for Yamraj, there is no fear of premature death. For this, on the evening of Dhanteras, 13 lamps should be lit at the main entrance of the house and inside the house. But remember that the lamp in the name of Yama should be lit at bedtime after all the members of the house return. Also, one should always use the old lamp to light the lamp of Yama. In which mustard oil is put and placed outside the house near the garbage heap facing south.

The second lamp – the second lamp, is lit in the house and its surroundings on the night of Deepawali. According to religious beliefs, by lighting a lamp of ghee made of cow’s milk in the temple on Diwali night, one can get rid of debt quickly.

Third lamp– A lamp should be lit during Lakshmi Puja on the night of Diwali.

Fourth lamp – The fourth lamp should be lit near Tulsi on the day of Diwali.

Fifth lamp – On Diwali, a lamp should be lit outside the door of the house.

Sixth lamp– On Deepawali, a lamp should also be kept under the Peepal tree.

Seventh lamp – On Diwali, burn this lamp in a temple near the house.

Eighth lamp – This lamp should be lit in the place of garbage in the house

Ninth lamp– This lamp should be kept lit in the bathroom of the house.

Tenth lamp – This lamp should be placed on the roof of the roof of the house.

Eleventh lamp – This lamp should be kept near the window of the house.

Twelfth lamp – should be placed on the roof of the house.

Thirteenth lamp – should be placed at an intersection near the house.
